Completion: Winter 2007 Scope: Peak 10 in Louisville specializes in the hosting and management of complex IT environments, ensuring the availability, security and integrity of critical data and business applications around the clock. The company owns and operates two world-class data centers in Louisville. AES designed a new 22,000 sq. ft. data center for their future growth and expansion. With a compressed schedule, the need for uninterrupted data operations required installation with concurrent design completion. We designed an electrical and mechanical system within budget to support the future growth needs of one of Louisville’s leading data centers. Value: $5,000,000 / $1,200,000
Appriss

Completion: Fall 2008-Spring 2009 Scope: Appriss provides innovative software-based services to hundreds of local, state and federal criminal justice agencies to serve and protect citizens. VINE is the nation's leading automated victim notification solution. This project consisted of a major upgrade to electrical, including a 500kva generator to back up modified electrical incoming service. We also modified the 120v/208v system to a new 480/277v system and added a new room for UPS and a feed to the new PDU. Value: $2,000,000
Marriott Downtown Hotel
Owner: Marriott Hotel Completion: 2007 Scope: AES partnered with a local contractor to work on both the Marriott Downtown Hotel and Churchill Downs Phase 2 Expansion. AES assisted with the take off, installed the power and lighting for the underground parking garage and installed the fire alarm and sound system in the 1290-room hotel. We utilized the strategic planning of Just In Time material delivery along with prefab design to minimize material needs on-site. Value: $1,500,000
Churchill Downs Phase 2 Expansion
Owner: Churchill Downs Completion: 2007 Scope: AES teamed with associates to assist with the massive expansion of the world-renowned Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. AES assisted in take off and installation of a complete fire alarm and sound system for the six-story expansion. Value: $1,050,000
