The 72,000 square foot distillery operates using virtual metering technology, zero fossil fuels for production, and 100% renewable electricity. “This is a significant step in our journey to create a low carbon future and be part of the solution to tackle the ongoing climate crisis,” Perry Jones, President of North America Supply for Diageo, said.
The distillery has the capacity to produce up to 10 million proof gallons per year — enough to fill 3.8 million 9-liter cases!
AES worked with Gray Solutions, a Gray company on process along with the automation & controls of the project, including I/O panels and PLC coding for the distillery process. As the process installer for the Diageo Lebanon Distillery project, AES was responsible for installation of PFD and P&ID, equipment general arrangements and stack-ups, process equipment. IN addition to the process work AES installed over 80 power feeds to various equipment.
