Project consisted of a 30,000 sq ft expansion to the stamping facility. AES was the design/assist electrical contractor. Project highlights included LED High Bay Lighting, a new 3000 amp double ended substation, 1600 amp bus way and a 125 kw generator.
AES worked around existing Ford operations to tie in the 15kv High Voltage cable feeding the new substation along with relocating power feeders throughout the existing facility. The project had an aggressive schedule and AES peaked at over 18 men on the job site.
